Pain in your heel can be excruciating. In addition, it can be difficult to get rid of. Many of our patients with plantar fasciitis - the most common form of heel pain - are chronic sufferers. But we’ve got great news for anyone living in Monmouth County who’s been living with plantar fasciitis:

Treatment has never been easier here at Affiliated Foot & Ankle Center.

A new method

We’re now offering a new tool in our “box” of treatments for plantar fasciitis. This new type of treatment

  • is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • is non-invasive
  • has no side effects
  • has been proven through clinical trials to greatly reduce heel pain in about three weeks.

The secret: low-level laser therapy

The formal name for this treatment is Erchonia FX 635 laser. But you can call it quick, easy, and pain-free. Patients who’ve been diagnosed with chronic heel pain come in to one of our podiatry offices located in Howell and Jackson, NJ. They visit us twice a week for three weeks. Each time, they lie on an exam table with their legs extended.

We position the device with the low-level laser directly toward the foot’s problem area. The laser stimulates tissue on a cellular level to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Following treatments, a patient’s heel pain can be dramatically reduced. They walk away feeling more comfortable - without having to undergo the pain and recovery time of foot surgery.

Our board-certified podiatrists Samantha Boyd, DPM, Hal Ornstein, DPM, Dan Phan, DPM, and Joseph Saka, DPM are delighted to be able to offer you this new therapy for heel pain. We’re booking appointments for Erchonia laser therapy now, so call us at (732) 905-1110 or contact us online.
